OOEA member Tasha Slay (Langston Middle School), OOEA president Margo Trinter (Oberlin Elementary School) and OOEA secretary Beth Hanlon (Oberlin High School) attended OEA’s Lobby Day on Tuesday, May 20th at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. They were able to meet with a couple state legislators to discuss concerns regarding public education in Ohio, sit in on an education committee hearing and attend an OEA sponsored reception with state representatives and other OEA members from around the state.
